Rain forest Nature Park – MIC001L

US$760,000

Description

Rain Forest Nature Park

A Rain Forest Nature Park located in Micoud. This simply beautiful lot stretches 200 acres. The area is suitable for an ecotourism project. This large piece of land is situated south of Dennery on the east side of Saint Lucia, in an area called Mon Repos. The land is not suitable for a large commercial development in any way. it should remain as part of the heritage of St. Lucia. Part of what makes the island ‘simply beautiful’.  Any development would have to be ecotourism based using only natural materials (i.e. not concrete structures) and using rainwater and solar electricity.

Road access

The property can be accessed from the main Castries/Vieux Fort highway. The road leading to the property has been graded and will be partly paved. It is approximately 3 miles inland. From this point, there is a hill which is a one-mile boulder road. This would need concrete stip paving. Grass paths have been cut through the first part of the estate.

Natural Features

Small arbitrary ravines cut through the land. These all run into the Fond D’or River.  The river borders the southern side of the 200 acres (8,712,000 sq ft) of land. The grass pathways are wide and look very attractive. The large areas of land between the ravines have grown into lightly forested areas. Here, you will find a large selection of ferns and various trees. These include incense trees, yang, cathedral bamboo, ginger lily, bird of paradise, etc.

Secluded wooden properties can be built in this area. The North and West of the properties are covered by natural rainforests. There are easily accessible by pathways that are not too steep.  The areas are peaceful and unspoiled. The present owners of the land have priced the land at a very reasonable price to ensure that any purchaser can afford to keep the land area unspoiled. Additionally, they are willing to allow young St. Lucians to experience this very unique place with the myriad of plant life and birds and animals. Interested in this one-of-a-kind property?
